The current situation in Israel-Hamas not only has an influence on Jewish Americans in their voting options for the 2024 presidential election but it is also shaping polls as the latter capture the intergenerational conflict in the U.S. regarding issues of Israel .

Out of a poll held jointly by The Forward and CHIP50, 54% of the Jewish Americans believe that Harris would be handling the war between Israel and Hamas__the better___While 65% Jewish Americans perceive Trump as being more supportive of Israelis.
The survey demonstrated the gap that is outlined by the change of opinion between older and more pro-Israel Jewish voters and the younger and progressive Jews, who, in turn, are way more discouraged by the military actions implemented by Israel
Ms Harris, on the one hand, argues for a more well-balanced approach that would include also food, medicines to the Palestinians, while Mr Trump, on the other hand, unlike the other candidates, takes a very pro-Israel line.
Antisemitism's growth and the worried about the country's safety have played major roles in voter's choices, especially for Jewish ones.
A survey of the National Opinion Research Center showed that 61% of the Jewish Americans are still feeling uneasy and worried about their safety in America in the post-Hamas event.
