A video was played, James’s family took to the court & Abdul Jabbar, now 75, passed a symbolic ball to the LA Lakers star.
LeBron James was anointed the “ chosen one “ by Sports Illustrated in 2002 when he was just 17.
Now, the 38- year - old, 6’ 9” forward never put a foot wrong on the court.
James took it as a badge of honor being mentioned as the heir to Air Jordan.
