Hopkins was actually born on June 6, 1992 (not May 10th) in Central, South Carolina (not Clemson), though he did attend and play football at Clemson University.

Hopkins became very famous because of his outstanding skills as a wide receiver, earning the nickname "Nuk" and establishing himself as one of the most reliable pass-catchers in NFL history with an impressive catch rate on contested throws.

In his college career at Clemson University from 2010-2012, he showcased elite talent by setting multiple school records and finishing with 206 receptions for 3,020 yards and 27 touchdowns over three seasons.

Hopkins' first introduction to the NFL came in 2013 when he was selected 27th overall in the first round of the NFL Draft by the Houston Texans.

During his junior year at Clemson, he had a brilliant record with 82 receptions for 1,405 yards and 18 touchdowns, leading the team to an ACC Championship.
