Defending Champions India will start their title defense on 19th July, Friday against arch rivals Pakistan.

8 teams will be playing in the tournament and each four teams has been divided with two groups. India, Pakistan, Nepal and UAE are in group A and host Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Malaysia and Thailand are in group B.

India has a strong record head to head against Pakistan.

15 matches will be played in together out of which 12 are group stage match.

Runners up in the previous Asia Cup, Sri Lanka will host this season’s tournament.
