Former boxing world champion Floyd Mayweather outclassed John Gotti III, the grandson of the late New York crime boss, in an exhibition match on Saturday.

However, the manner in which Mayweather won raised several questions, leaving the New York crowd displeased.
There was a moment of confusion when Mayweather continued the fight despite the bell not ringing.
In the second round, Mayweather reportedly requested the referee be switched out, leading to confusion.
As a result, referee Hector Afu left the ring, and Mexican referee Alfredo Uruzquieta stepped in to continue the match.
Mayweather interestingly retired from boxing in 2017.
He remains unbeaten in 50 official bouts.
His opponent, John Gotti III, is the grandson of John Gotti, the former head of the Gambino crime family.
Despite several controversies throughout the match, Mayweather performed exceedingly well, securing a dominant victory over Gotti III.
