MIT's DribbleBot: Taking Football to the Next Frontier of Robotics

The sport's latest challenge, however, comes from an unexpected player: a robot named 'DribbleBot.'

MIT's Improbable AI Lab created DribbleBot, a four-legged robot skilled in football dribbling across varied terrains.

Beyond programming robots for sports, the MIT team built DribbleBot to adapt to diverse terrains.

Starting without knowledge of dribbling, DribbleBot learns through reinforcement, as explained by MIT PhD student, Gabe Margolis.
