Charly Reynolds Reveals Recent Vocal Surgery: “ I Was Having Trouble Singing”
Charly Reynolds reveals that she has gone through a recent vocal surgery.
After the surgery, she won’t be able to hit the powerful notes or the high notes like before.
Reynolds recalls in a recent interview, “Suddenly I was having trouble singing…but I didn’t stop singing. I just was singing too much.”
Reynolds said that she was too hard on herself.
The singer who is a native of Florida moved to the outskirts of Nashville at 18 years old.
She was always singing, but suddenly in August 2020 she couldn’t sing for more than 30 minutes without losing her voice.
Reynolds admitted that she had to go through a month-long vocal test and she found out her “vocal cords were very inflamed & hemorrhaged, & bloody.”
In December she was again having issues with her vocal cords, so she decided to go for surgery.
She said, “Scar tissue had developed on my vocal cords…I decided to do the surgery now rather than wait five years, you know.”
Charly Reynold is currently in the process of recovery from her surgery.
