Harmanpreet then scored another goal to give a sufficient lead of 2-0 for India. India’s defenders also put up a spirited show as Ireland failed to breach the Indian defense.
In the previous match against Argentina, India managed to draw the match 1-1 as Harmanpreet scored a goal in the last few minutes to help India remain undefeated in this Paris Olympics 2024. Argentine player Lucas Martinez scored the opening goal in the 22nd minute. Argentina played like a well-balanced team, but Harmanpreet Singh’s brilliance denied them the victory.
