GMA3 stars Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes is officially out of the daytime news program. GMA3: What You Need to Know is an American daytime news broadcast by ABC that covers several aspects of daily news.
A representative for ABC told People magazine in a statement following the incident regarding their star co-hosts, “After several productive conversations with Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes about different options, we all agreed it’s best for everyone that they move on from ABC News…We recognize their talent and commitment over the years and are thankful for their contributions. A decision for a new co-host will come later.”
News agencies like TMZ stated that the exit of the anchors was supported with appropriate compensation packages. According to a source from People, the co-host couple was devastated to see how ABC handled their behind the scene romance. Both of them were put on hiatus in December and they were aware that soon they will be off from the agency.
On this account, TMZ reported that one of ABC’s representatives accused both of them of having various forms of misconduct at the set. Some of these accusations included Amy bringing liquor into her dressing room which is a violation of ABC policy. The ABC folks also added that their behavior on the set was uncomfortable for some ABC staff. However, when Amy and TJ’s relationship was made public ABC said in support that they did not break any company rules.
