Notably, Crouser holds the world record with a throw of 23.56 meters, achieved at the USATF Los Angeles Grand Prix in 2023. The 31-year-old first won a gold medal when he was just 16 years old at the World Youth Championship in 2009, with a throw of 21.56 meters. He stated that he, along with his teammates Joe Kovacs and Payton Otterdahl, will be difficult to beat at this point in time.

Crouser also discussed his diet, highlighting the challenge most athletes face in controlling calories with a proper diet chart. “I don’t even like food anymore. Each one of my meals is half of what a normal person eats in a day. And I do that five times. If I ever feel hungry during the day, that means I’m not doing my job. So I eat all the time. Sometimes before another meal, I’ll stare at it for a while, like, ‘This again.’”
