The star American football quarterback Aaron Rodgers appeared on “The Pat McAfee Show” and asked if any other team had an interest in him playing apart from the Jets.
Rodgers firmly hinted that he would like to join Devante Adams in the Las Vegas Raiders. He said, “I think there were other teams that were interested, and obviously there’s certain players that I have a lot of love and affinity for, especially one specific person.”
In the show, McAfee interrupted him to ask whether he was talking about the Adams but in his response, Rodgers strongly denied taking names. Rodgers said, “There’s definitely one particular guy, him and I have this special unspoken rapport.”
Meanwhile, the NFL National Insider for The Athletic Jeff Howe confirmed that Raiders and Rodger have been in touch. The team has recently explored Rodgers’ trade before signing in with Jimmy Garoppolo as a free agent.
Jeff Howe tweeted, “The Raiders did indeed call the Packers to check on QB Aaron Rodgers’ availability this offseason, per sources. But when a trade couldn’t come together, the Raiders signed Jimmy Garoppolo and Rodgers is now on the verge of a trade to the Jets.”
Singing in with Rodgers could become a great deal for a free agency like Raiders Howe added.
However, in the interview at McAffee show Rodgers made it clear that finally he is all done with the Green Bay Packers.
