During a meeting with Foreign Ministers in the oval office on Friday after the signing of peace agreement between Democratic Republic of Congo and Rwanda, Donald Trump reportedly told journalists that a ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel is within reach by next week. While he did not disclose any details but said, “I think it’s close. I just Spoke to some of the people involved”. Reports Aljazeera

President Donald Trump terminates all discussions on trade with Canada in retaliation for the new digital service tax on US based tech companies. In a post on Truth Social Trump equated the tariffs on American Technology Companies with an attack on his country. He said Canada has been a difficult country to trade with.

Speaking at the Oval Office later he told reporters: 

“We have a great relationship with the people of Canada,” Trump told journalists. But he added: “We have all the cards, every single one. We don’t want to do anything bad but economically we have such power over Canada.”

Donald Trump has lauded a Supreme Court ruling on Friday that curbs Federal court judges’ power to impose nationwide rulings. Welcoming the decision Trump said,” Thanks to this decision we can now promptly file to proceed with numerous policies that had been wrongly enjoined on a nationwide basis..[…] Trump said that he can now end birthright citizenships that had been misused by people who had come into the country on vacation.

A peace agreement was signed between Rwanda and Democratic Republic of Congo brokered by the Trump administration. The Foreign Ministers of both countries met the President after the signing ceremony. Rwandan Foreign Minister Olivier Nduhungirehe speaking at the Oval Office told POTUS that many agreements in the past failed but with steadfast commitment of the US administration to peace that a historic peace agreement is in place.
