Eric Stonestreet, best known for playing Cameron Tucker on “Modern Family,” married his longtime partner Lindsay Schweitzer in an intimate ceremony at their Kansas City home. The 54-year-old actor shared the happy news on September 9, 2025, which also happened to be his birthday.
“It’s my birthday and guess what I got,” Stonestreet wrote on Instagram, posting several wedding photos. The images show the couple celebrating their special day, with Stonestreet wearing a navy blue suit with a light blue tie, while Schweitzer wore a white satin gown with crystal belt details.
The couple’s love story began in 2016 when they met at the Big Slick charity event in Kansas City. People magazine confirmed their relationship in August 2017. After dating for five years, Stonestreet proposed to Schweitzer in August 2021.
Their four-year engagement was longer than some might have expected, but there was a specific reason for the wait. In July 2025, Stonestreet told People magazine they were building a house in Kansas City specifically to host their wedding.
