Marvel’s Thunderbolts Digital Release July 1: $19.99 Rental, $24.99 Purchase Despite $381M Box Office

Marvel’s critically acclaimed “Thunderbolts*” (also marketed as “The New Avengers“) is set to make its digital debut on July 1, 2025, following its theatrical release on May 2. The film will be available for purchase and rental on major digital platforms including Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, and Fandango at Home.

Viewers looking to rent the movie will need to pay $19.99 for a 48-hour viewing period, while those wanting to own it digitally can purchase it for $24.99. It’s important to note that this is not included with standard Amazon Prime or Apple TV+ subscriptions – it requires a separate purchase or rental.

The digital release comes with bonus features including deleted scenes, a gag reel, behind-the-scenes featurettes about the film’s production, and director Jake Schreier’s audio commentary.

The film marks the final entry in Phase Five of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
