Yashasvi Jaiswal has put up a stunning show of 93 not out to clinch the T20I series against the host Zimbabwe. Earlier, India won the toss and opted to field first. The pitch was a belter, and the ball was coming onto the bat nicely. Zimbabwe, having had a good start, failed to capitalize and made a moderate score of 152. Khaleel Ahmed bowled brilliantly, taking 2 wickets. Spinners like Ravi Bishnoi and Washington Sundar also bowled exceedingly well to keep the batsmen under check.
Coming onto the chase, India were off to a blistering start with openers Yashasvi Jaiswal and Subhman Gill. Yashasvi Jaiswal took apart the bowlers and looked unstoppable. Subhman Gill played a good supporting role and continued his good form with back-to-back fifties. The Zimbabwean bowlers didn’t have any clue and looked out of rhythm. India chased down the total with no wickets lost in a comprehensive manner.
