Cardi B announced she is expecting her fourth child during an interview with Gayle King on CBS Mornings that aired Wednesday, September 17. The 32-year-old rapper revealed this will be her first child with boyfriend Stefon Diggs, wide receiver for the New England Patriots.
“I’m having a baby with my boyfriend, Stefon Diggs,” Cardi B told King. “I’m excited. I’m happy. I feel like I’m in a good space. I feel very strong, very powerful that I’m doing all this work, but I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby.”
The baby is due before February 2026, when Cardi B is scheduled to begin her first arena tour, “Little Miss Drama.” The timing coincides with the release of her second studio album, “Am I The Drama?”, which drops on September 19, 2025.
Cardi B and Diggs have been linked since October 2024, though they didn’t make their first public appearance together until May 2025, when they were spotted courtside at a New York Knicks game. This development comes after Cardi B filed for divorce from rapper Offset in 2024.

In the interview, Cardi B credited Diggs with providing stability during the emotional process of her album rollout. “He just makes me feel safe and very confident and very strong,” she said. “Two weeks ago, I was literally having a panic attack. I was crying and crying, just because I was getting really nervous with the whole album rollout.”
She explained that she waited to announce the pregnancy until she could “close some deals first,” adding that she wanted to wait until she had seen “a couple of more sonograms” and confirmed her baby was healthy.
With her trademark humor, Cardi B used the announcement to promote her upcoming album: “Now y’all can buy my album so I can buy Pampers and diapers and all that type of stuff. I told y’all, now go support my album ’cause I’m a mother of four now!”
The couple appears to share similar ambitions, with Cardi B noting that they’re both determined to be “the greatest” in their respective fields. “Me and my man, we’re very supportive of each other. We’re like in the same space in our careers,” she said. “We’re never, like, comfortable. We just have to keep going.”
