Donald Trump on Friday signed the One Big Beautiful Bill into law at the July 4 picnic marking Independence Day. The White House adorned a red, white, and blue hue for the occasion.
The legislation provides tax cuts, increased outlay for border security and Trump’s immigration policies. However Democrats are of the opinion that the bill eats away into Medicaid funds which could leave millions of Americans without healthcare aid, particularly in rural areas.

Hamas has given a positive nod to the latest US backed 60-day ceasefire deal with Israel. Earlier Israel had also confirmed their willingness to the deal. The group in a statement on Friday said, “Hamas has “submitted a positive response to the mediators, and the movement is fully prepared to immediately enter into a round of negotiations regarding the mechanism for implementing this framework.” CNN reported.
When asked about the Hamas’ response Trump said, “we have to get it over with..[…], we have to do something about Gaza.”

Tariff of 17% looms large on EU agricultural exports. In the latest US onslaught of tariffs imposition, the US has threatened Brussels with a 17 per cent tariff. Belgium is seeking carve-outs for some of its products. Trump has reportedly demanded that Brussels give American companies exemptions from regulations, reports Financial Times.
