Gets Nobel Peace Prize Nomination From Netanyahu While India Trade Deal Faces Agriculture Hurdles

Donald Trump has signed an executive order directing the Secretary of the Treasury to strictly enforce the termination of the clean energy electricity production and investment tax credits for wind and solar facilities. The order seeks to prevent credits if any projects have corporate ties or supply chain ties with Foreign Entity of Concern.

Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu met at the White House, the Israeli Prime Minister presenting a letter to Trump said that he had sent the letter to a committee for the Nobel peace prize. 

When asked about Trump’s earlier plan of relocating Palestinians still on the agenda of the meeting, Trump directed to Netanyahu to respond to the question , Netanyahu said, “I think President Trump had a brilliant vision. It’s called free choice. If people want to stay, they can stay, but if they want to leave, they should be able to leave. It shouldn’t be a prison. It should be an open place and give people a free choice.”

Israel and Hamas are negotiating the terms of the ceasefire in Qatar. 

Trump was asked whether he might strike Iran again? Trump said that he cannot imagine doing that , Iran is very different now than it was two weeks ago he remarked.

Donald Trump said Monday that a trade deal with India is within reach.

Reportedly trade negotiators are in talks. It is reported that the US is demanding market access to Indian agricultural and dairy sectors, opening its market for GM crops. While India is demanding reduced tariffs on labour intensive products like footwear, garments, and leather products. 

The Indian agriculture sector remains one of the largest sectors to provide work for rural populations. India is reluctant to open the agriculture sector citing rural livelihoods and food security.
