Donald Trump plans to organize an Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) event at The White House next year to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the country’s declaration of independence, reports Reuters.

Donald Trump has said the US will cover setting tariffs for countries by the 9th of July, the set US deadline for countries to reach a bilateral trade agreement. He said the US will be sending letters to various countries informing them about the tariffs they have to pay on goods. The tariffs will range from 60% or 70% to 10% or 20%.
Trump did not provide any further information on which countries any specific tariff will be imposed.
The US has announced a trade deal with Vietnam recently so far and a truce with China after trade skirmish.

Donald Trump talking to reporters before departing for Iowa stated that he wants the safety of Palestinians. “They’ve gone through hell,” remarked Trump before boarding his plane.
Hamas has sought guarantees that the US backed ceasefire would lead to an end of the war, reported Reuters. When asked whether Hamas has agreed to the latest framework for a ceasefire and hostage deal? Trump said he is hoping to see some results in the next 24 hours.

Talking to reporters earlier President Donald Trump said that his conversation with Vladimir Putin was “disappointing.” The President said he will speak with Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Friday.
Earlier the US halted its supply of ammunition to Ukraine.
Trump further noted that Vladimir Putin is not looking to stop the war.

Donald Trump kicked off a yearlong celebration of America’s 250th anniversary. The celebrations were announced three years back.
Officially called America250 the event marks the 250th anniversary since the Declaration of Independence.
Trump in an hour-long speech said, “On the eve of the July 4th holiday, “there could be no better birthday present for America than the phenomenal victory we achieved just hours ago, when Congress passed the one big beautiful bill to make America great again.”
A day before Trump in a post on Truth Social shared his delight in travelling to Iowa, “one of his favorite places in the world.”
