In a series of letters Donald Trump announced new trade related tariffs for six countries today:
- 30% on Algeria
- 25% on Brunei
- 30% on Iraq
- 30% on Libya
- 25% on Moldova
- 25% on the Philippines

Donald Trump in a post on Truth Social not naming Jerome Powell, called for his resignation simply saying anyone but “Too Late”.
Half an hour later in another post Trump renewed his call asking to lower the federal interest rate. “Our Fed Rate is AT LEAST 3 Points too high. “Too Late” is costing the U.S. 360 Billion Dollars a Point, PER YEAR, in refinancing costs. No Inflation, COMPANIES POURING INTO AMERICA. “The hottest Country in the World!” LOWER THE RATE!!!.”

Copper prices soared to 17% in New York on Tuesday before falling more than 4% in early trade on Wednesday after Trump’s announcement of levying a 50 per cent tariff on copper.
Trump in Tuesday’s cabinet meeting said, “today, we’re doing copper,” adding: “I believe the tariff on copper, we’re going to make it 50%.”
He further said the next tariff target would be on the “big ones”: pharmaceuticals, chips.

Trump praised the efforts made by his administration for the swift response and work to the Texas flash flood and announced that he will visit the area on Friday.
The US will resume its supply of weapons to Ukraine. Trump pledged to supply Ukraine with 10 Patriot missiles.
Criticizing Russian President Vladimir Putin, Trump said, “We get a lot of bullshit thrown at us by Putin, if you want to know the truth. He’s very nice all the time, but it turns out to be meaningless.”
Countries within the BRICS group will be levied an additional 10 per cent tariff. Trump said, “They will certainly have to pay 10% if they are in BRICS because BRICS was set up to hurt us, to degenerate our dollar…”

In a post on Truth Social Donald Trump announced that seven countries will be notified today with additional countries to be notified in the afternoon.
