As per the reports of the Israeli media, the Syrian government demands “1/3 of Golan Heights & the Lebanese city of Tripoli in exchange for peace with Israel”. A source close to the President of Syria Ahmed al-Sharaa revealed that the government seeks to seize Tripoli along with few other regions in northern Lebanon, and the Bekaa Valley.
